Originally released in 2018, this classic vaporwave album by Tokyo To Honolulu is back on cassette for the 3rd time. As of this posting only 3 cassettes remain. Although the album art feels like torture, this is actually a rather mild album. Favorite track: 古代寺院

リアルライフSIMULATION by VHSテープリワインダー (Limited Edition Cassette)

First thing I noticed listening to this album is claps and finger snaps. Something about the mixing makes these stand out over the rest of the percussion. Besides that, the percussion is actually pretty involved here for a vaporwave album. VHSテープリワインダー has impressed me on that part. Favorite track: studio 54

GOLDWAVE by D. J. Ayur

Everything has a wave these days so why not the most precious metal, Gold. Goldwave hosts an array of experimental ways of twisting samples into ambient experiences. For example in the first track, your ears feel like they are fluttering. Then again in Time To Go. Favorite track: Time To Go

EDIT: ok, I’ve listened to Time To Go like 6 times in a row now. This song gives me vibes of middle school playing Kingdom Hearts, DDR and reading Rurouni Kenshin with my best friend David. Thank you Goldwave for remixing this song so beautifully. Time to go DM David and tell him I appreciate him.

EDIT 2: You know, I’ve been feeling like maybe daily releases are not worth the time and effort. Usually they take me about 2 hours each day to complete. It’s a lot of work but albums like this totally make it worth it. I’m so happy it’s 1am and I’m working on the daily releases and I found this album. It’s incredible.

Wow this album’s first track was like a well produced (almost professional at that) jump scare. and I think that’s what is so impressive and interesting about this, it feels really well produced. Like too good of quality. It’s a weird album for sure but the sound quality is like.. just too good to describe. listen to it. Favorite song: ssj 10 because of those scream made me laugh. what is this album omg.

“The third part of the rebirth trilogy, following 溺死 (drowning) on Bogus Collective and 不本意 (Reluctance) on Asura Revolver.” Now thirdly on Seikomart. Actually I’ve never heard of an artist utilizing labels to distribute a series of albums. This one is of an industrial ambient nature. Ambient guys will like this one.
